June adopt a dragon

As promised, any dragons left from the art walks would be in my next shop update! Hard to believe it’s been four months since my last update, but I’m happy to report that I still have quite a few cuties left for you guys!

With that said, I have a few projects I’ll be working on, and my goal is to open up some custom slots for you guys next month (will probably happen instead of a shop update). I’ll announce when those open up, but I will be only taking custom orders through my website. Since I will probably only open up 3 or 4 at a time on a first come, first served basis, I think it’s easier if I funnel all of the conversation to one place instead of trying to get everything figured out through various channels.

Anyways! Here’s the line up for this week’s shop update!

Caramel Apple

Carnival dragonThis caramel apple dragon is part of my Sculptober series from October 2016. He features a bright sparkly candy apple green (in fact, it’s probably my favorite green of the ones I’ve mixed) and a caramel accent. He also comes with his own little apple.

This caramel apple dragon is signed, numbered, and dated.

Lucky the St. Patrick’s Day Dragon

St. Patty's dragonThis little guy is one lucky dragon! Not only is he accompanied by four leaf clovers, he also has his own little pot of gold! Complete with a St. Patrick’s Day color palette. He is part of my Sculptober series from October 2016’s set of prompts.

He is signed, numbered, and dated.

Snow Angel

Snow angel dragonAnother creation for Sculptober’s prompts from October 2016. For the theme of “snow”, I thought it’d be fun to make a little dragon making a snow angel. He is laying on his back in the “snow angel” position surrounded by piles of snow.

He is signed, numbered, and dated.

Easter Bunny

Easter dragonOne of my favorite dragons from this update is this Easter bunny dragon. I’ve been playing more and more with translucent clay, and I think they just turned out so nicely! His fiber basket adds a nice textural difference too.

Also part of Sculptober’s prompt list from October 2016, this dragon is signed, numbered, and dated.

Firework the New Year’s Dragon

New Year's dragonI played with a different kind of clay for this dragon. This was the black clay with glitter in it (I think it’s called Twinkle Twinkle?). I added some more gold and holographic glitters to make it extra sparkly like a starry night sky. He’s accented with gold and silver clay.

Being part of the Sculptober series like the rest, this dragon is signed, numbered, and dated.

Birthday Cake

Birthday cake dragonI seem to make food dragons a lot haha! This is a birthday cake inspired dragon. It was a lot of fun texturing the cake and adding the sprinkles and frosting. He’s accented with chalk pastels to give him that baked cake look.

Also part of the Sculptober October 2016 prompts, this guy is signed, numbered, and dated.

Watermelon

Watermelon dragonProbably my absolute favorite dragon from this batch is this watermelon dragon. If you’re curious about how I created the look, I actually posted a blog post about it here. This dragon features a translucent watermelon color with other accents.

She is signed and dated.

Cookies and Cream

Cookies and Cream dragonAnother sweets dragon already? Yes, yes indeed. This was another fun one to make, and the color was achieved by starting with granite clay. He holds a little bitten cookie in his hands.

He is signed and dated.
